CIC Corporate & Institutional Banking (formerly CIC Market Solutions) has won the ‘Best Bank for ESG Research’ prize at the 2026 ESG Investing Awards. This internationally recognised distinction is bestowed upon the top performers in sustainable finance.
Organised by ESG Investing, these prizes are awarded every year to financial institutions, asset management firms, and data providers that stand out for the quality of their research, their capacity for innovation, and their contribution to integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into investment decisions.
In the ‘Bank – ESG Research’ category, CIC CIB was recognised by an independent jury comprising financial experts, academics (e.g. from Yale, LSE, Bocconi and ESSEC), and ESG specialists. This award highlights the rigour, depth, and insight of the research produced by its analysts, as well as their ability to support investors in a constantly evolving environment.
CIC CIB competed against major international financial institutions such as City Research, BNP Paribas, Itau BBA, and Scotiabank.
